Rules and Regulations

Students should come in time for the morning assembly.The school gates shall be closed as soon as the bell rings.

Students are expected to wear the correct uniform at all times. The shoes should be polished and hair cut decently.

Students should do all their homework regularly and bring only the required books to school.

Students should respect their teachers and behave properly with their class-fellows in and outside the school.

Students suffering from any disability or disease should notify the class teacher and Principal.
-
The school shall take all precautions for the safety of the students inside the school but shall not be responsible for any injury.

Fees should be deposited by 15th of every month or fine of Rs5/- per day will be levied.

No student should use motor bikes/vehicles to come to school.
-
Parents who want to take their child home during the school hours should bring parent card/escort card.
-
Parents should carry escort card in order to enter the school campus.
-
No Student will be permitted entry in school without I cards.
-
No Student upto class V is permitted to come by bicycles.
-
No Student is permitted to park cycle in school campus without cycle pass.
Library Rules
-
All students of the school are members of the library
-
A student can borrow only one book at a time for a period of two weeks.
-
Books will be issued to the students, during the library periods. No book will be issued or returned during the teaching hours.

Marking, underlining or writing on library books is strictly forbidden.
-
Reference books and current periodicals will not be issued to any student. These can be read only in the library room.
-
If the books are not returned within a specified time it will be viewed seriously and fine will be charged as per rules.

The librarian may call for a book at any time, even if the normal period of loan has not expired.
-
In case of book is misused, wrongly handled or lost the person concerned will have to replace the book or pay the full price of the book.

A No Dues Certificate by each student is to be obtained from the librarian while withdrawing any student from the school.

Strict order and silence shall be maintained in the library
Punctuality and Regularity
• The students are expected to reach the school by 7:30 A.M. Students should attend school as well as classes regularly.
• Late comers and absent students must bring a note from their parents stating a valid reason. The frequency of late coming should be recorded in the Almanac.
• Students abstaining from classes for any reason must carry a Class Out Pass or a note from the concerned teacher.
Leave / Absence from school
• Leave record should be maintained in the Almanac.
• Application for long term absence requires prior approval from the Principal.
• Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during the working hours. In case of emergency, written permission from the senior management must be sought.
• In case of illness a Medical Certificate should be sent to the school.
• The student must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to school
o Chicken Pox - till complete falling of scabs.
o Measles-2 weeks after the rashes disappear.
o Mumps- till the swelling reduces i.e. one month.
o Whooping Cough-6 weeks.
• A student suffering from any contagious disease will be allowed to attend classes only after producing a FitnessCertificate from a medical practitioner.
Personal Hygiene
• The students should wear the prescribed uniform and must be smart and immaculate. She / He should be well groomed at all times.
• Long hair should be tied neatly and students with short hair must get a regular hair cut.
• Students may wear small ear studs if their ears are pierced. Students should deter from use of nail paint, kajal or any cosmetic. Nails should be trimmed regularly.
School Property
• Due care should be taken of the school property. Disfiguring or damage to the aforesaid will be charged.
• It is the duty of every student to dispose litter in the bins and keep the surroundings tidy.
• It must be ensured that lights and fans are switched off when not in use.
• Library books should be returned in time and in case of misplacement or loss of a book, one is liable to be fined or pay equivalent to the cost of the book.
General Behavior
• Students must be courteous and behave politely at all times. They should respect elders and teachers.
• Students must observe silence in the absence of a teacher especially during change of periods.
• The following practices are strictly forbidden and in case of negligence are liable to attract strict disciplinary action by the Principal
o Cheating or use of unfair means during examination or assessment.
o Possession or use of mobiles, I-pods or personal stereo.
o Rowdy and indecent behaviour, bullying or disobedience of school rules.
o Reading / browsing of obscene literature.

• Bullying either verbal or physical will not be tolerated by the school in any form. The same should be reported to a staff member or the management.
